Enabling Lovable Cloud

One button provisions your entire backend. Here's what you get.

Lovable Cloud is your project's backend. Enabling it takes one click and gives you a production-grade Postgres database, an authentication service, file storage, edge functions, and a secrets vault — all wired into your app automatically.

/What you get out of the box

  • 01Postgres database: A full relational database with row-level security enabled by default.
  • 02Authentication: Email/password, magic links, Google, and Apple sign-in ready to go.
  • 03File storage: CDN-backed buckets for images, documents, and user uploads.
  • 04Edge functions: Serverless functions that run close to your users for low latency.
  • 05Secrets vault: Encrypted storage for API keys — never exposed to the browser.
When to enable

Turn Cloud on the moment you need to save data, sign users in, or run server-side code. There's no downside to enabling it early.

/What it costs

Cloud usage is included with your Lovable plan up to generous limits. You can monitor usage inside the project settings and set spending caps so you never get surprised.
